Terms of Service

1. The service

Sills connects messaging channels you already own — such as Facebook Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp and email — and presents the conversations in one shared inbox for you and your team.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 and able to enter a binding contract.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for what the people you invite to your workspace do in it.
• Tell us promptly at developer@sills.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Connected channels

To connect a channel you must own it or be authorised to act for its owner. Each channel is also governed by its provider's own terms — including the Meta Platform Terms and Google's API terms — and your use through Sills must comply with them. A provider may change or withdraw access to its APIs at any time, which can affect the service in ways outside our control.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Sills to:

• send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or anything unlawful, deceptive or harassing;
• message people who have not agreed to hear from you, where consent is required;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• attempt to breach, overload or reverse engineer the service;
• resell or provide the service to third parties without our written agreement.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to your messages, contacts and files. You grant us a limited licence to host, transmit and display that content solely to operate the service for you. We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Availability

We work to keep Sills available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features. Where a change is material we will give reasonable notice.

7. Fees

Pricing, billing intervals and any trial terms are those shown at sign-up. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated. We may change pricing on reasonable notice, effective from your next billing period.

8. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if your use puts the service or other users at risk. On termination we handle your data as set out in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, where the change is material, notify account holders by email. Continuing to use Sills after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, and the courts of Delaware, USA have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
